Privacy policy
In short: this website collects what you type into the site-survey form, plus the usual technical details of the request. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Data is kept on Google Cloud in Singapore. The FAMICA platform processes building data on behalf of the client who operates the building, under a written agreement with them.
Who we are
Prigo X Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (company registration 202601013522), Cyberjaya, Malaysia, makes FAMICA and operates famica.prigox.com. For anything in this policy, write to hello@prigox.com.
We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia. Where a client operates buildings elsewhere, the client's own obligations under local law are addressed in the service agreement.
What this covers
This policy covers the public website and the sign-in area at famica.prigox.com. For sensor readings, camera events and the other building data that the FAMICA platform processes, the client who operates the building is the data user and Prigo X acts on their instructions. That processing is governed by the service agreement with the client, and where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement applies.
What we collect, and why
- The site-survey form. Your name, company, work email, phone number, building type, number of buildings and your message, together with the IP address and browser identification of the request and the time it was sent. We use these to reply to you and to prevent abuse of the form. The IP address and browser details exist only for that second purpose.
- Accounts. If a client gives you access to the FAMICA platform, we hold your name, email address, role and the memberships that decide which buildings you can see, plus a record of your sign-ins. We use these to run the service and to keep one client's data from another's.
- Notifications. If a client configures alerts to a Telegram chat, an email address or a work-order system, the contact details needed for that route are held for that purpose.
- Server logs. Requests to the site are logged with their IP address and timing for security and fault-finding, and are not used for anything else.
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and local storage
The public pages set no cookies. When you sign in, one strictly necessary cookie identifies your session; it is marked HTTP-only and Secure and lasts up to 30 days. Your light-or-dark theme choice is kept in your own browser's local storage and never sent to us. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies on this site.
Where data is kept
The website and the FAMICA platform run on Google Cloud in the asia-southeast1 region (Singapore). Form submissions, accounts and platform data stay there. If a client configures a notification route such as Telegram or email, the content of that notification is passed to that provider in order to deliver it.
How long we keep it
- Site-survey enquiries: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first.
- Accounts: for as long as the client keeps you as a user, then removed with the client's data at the end of the agreement.
- Platform data: for the retention period in the client's service agreement.
- Server logs: 90 days.
Cameras and FAMICA Vision
FAMICA Vision works on detection, not identification: rules act on events such as “a person entered a zone”, never on who the person is. Facial recognition is not deployed unless a client specifically requires it and completes its own impact assessment. Footage stays on the client's own recorder under the client's retention policy; FAMICA stores events, clips attached to incidents and aggregate counts. The operator of the premises is responsible for signage and for notices to the people on site.
Your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for us to keep contacting you. Write to hello@prigox.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you use the FAMICA platform through a client, requests about that account go to the client first, and we will assist them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. The current version is always at famica.prigox.com/privacy.
